Hi Everyone,

   This past weekend we played an hour and a half set at the Uniontown Art Club juried exhibit grand opening.  It was a really great time and it was great to see so many great pieces of art from local artists.  If it wasn’t for these type of events you would never know that so many great pieces were being created by the local community.  Nancy, thanks for making us a part of the grand opening.  We hope to be a part of it for many more years.  We’ll hopefully be playing a few shows through out the summer months.  Once we get a schedule setup I’ll be posting it on the site.  Thanks everyone!

Hi Everyone,

    The White Roses are back in the writing process and have around six songs almost completely written.  We look forward to putting out around 10 new tracks by the end of the summer.  Hopefully (*fingers crossed*), all goes well and we get the music out on time.  Stay tuned for updates.  Also, Nick, Ryan, and myself are working on a new studio space in the home.  Right now we are in a small 9×11 room but if all goes well our new space will be a 20 x  22 space with some nice areas (vocal booth), amp iso cabs, 12 foot ceilings.  It’ll definitely be a great creative space with some really nice features.  If all goes well that’ll be done this spring and recording can start in the summer.  Well, just wanted to give everyone an update and I hope life is treating you well…

This past Tuesday the White Roses, The Leafs, and Steve Thompson had an evening gig at DiMarco’s for the benefit of the Fayette County Community Action Association foodbank. We were able to raise over 200$ that night which means we had about 100 people come by that night. Currently we are mixing a live CD which will include 5 tracks from each band. We’ll be selling this CD for 5$ and everything will go to the FCCAA. We are hoping to raise about the same amount from CD sales as the Foodbank was able to feed 20 people for a full month with only 200$. It’s amazing what a little money will do for those in need. So stay tuned as the tracks will be available soon.

Hi Everyone!
I hope all is well in the land of the internet. The end of the year is quickly approaching and I’ve uploaded final mixes of the Life’s a Story EP as well as a cover of Gnarls Barkley’s Crazy. We are also working on putting out a few more straight up acoustic covers as we get ready to start gigging in the local area. We are going to mix it up a bit for you with songs from Tom Petty to Green Day to Outkast so stay tuned. Hopefully everyone has a great holiday season. I myself will be busy with Christmas and New Year’s so I’ve got about 35 people coming over to feed. As for everyone else enjoy the holiday season and look for some new music through out the new year, free and satisfying.

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the new White Roses Site.  We’ve jumped ship from the corporate realm of web hosting to a local solution.  You know, supportin the local folks.  We are also near to completion of our new EP so be ready for its release and free download sometime in September.  We’ve also been asked to do a jingle for a business in Hilton Head Island so I’ll make sure to post that as well when things are done.  Bare with me as the site doesn’t look so gracious right now but soon enough it’ll get there.  Peace.
